pre-planning meeting for Birmingham Offices

We were up in Birmingham again this week, meeting with Birmingham City Council to discuss the proposed re-cladding of Albany House.

Whitman Wilde were appointed as architects for the project earlier this year, which involves the re-positioning of an 11 storey office building in the Southside area of Birmingham.

The external design responds to the urban context of the area, providing  a robust facade in with an industrial material palette. The new building  will act as a  keystone for the proposed Southside Square and surrounding regeneration of the area.

The proposed fit-out includes over 20,000sqft of office space, including a mix of small turn-key offices for start-up businesses, and shared workspaces for Birmingham's creative industries.
